About Zach…

Zach Gilliam has been a member at Ridgewood Church for five years. He and his family have served in a variety of ministries at Ridgewood, and they are exceedingly thankful for the people that God has allowed them to co-labor with. Zach is from the Simpsonville area and a graduate of North Greenville University. He is married to Sarah Gilliam and they have 4 children.

What do you love about serving at Ridgewood?

I often think about Hebrews 13 and how the body at Ridgewood makes it a joy and not a burden to serve them. I love the people, and I love seeing the work of the gospel in transforming lives more into the image of our King, Christ Jesus.

What do you do when you are not serving?

I enjoy being a husband to Sarah, a father of 4 kids, and a financial advisor. I also hunt, read, watch how-to videos, and try to remain active when time allows.

Favorite Book?

There is not just one, so I will list several from different categories. Enders Game (Pleasure), Band of Brothers (Historical Narrative), The Progress of Doctrine (Gospel Formation), The Margin of Safety (Investment Theory), and a New Testament Biblical Theology (Theology- hence the title)

What is your claim to fame?

1996 Temple Baptist Church Royal Ambassador of the Year.
