The aim of Ridge Kids is to equip and partner with fathers and mothers to present children mature in Christ. (Colossians 1:28)
Our Convictions & Commitments
We have four convictions and four corresponding commitments that undergird our efforts to see our kids develop into maturity in Christ:
Parents are the ones primarily responsible for discipling their children…so we are committed to equipping and partnering with parents because they will give an account to God. (Deut. 6:7, Eph. 6:4)
Kids can and must have access to Jesus because their souls are at stake…so we are committed to making Jesus known to our kids through age-appropriate teaching and evangelism. (Ps. 78:1-4, Matt. 19:13-15)
Kids are a meaningful part of this church community and may one day be members themselves…so we are committed to introducing them to the beauty and necessity of life together as a church. (John 13:35, 17:20-22; Eph. 6:1-3; Col. 3:20)
Aunts, uncles, and grandparents in the faith are co-laborers with parents…so we are committed to encouraging the church body to love and invest in kids. (Tit. 2:1-10, Eph. 2:10)

Sunday Evening Classes
Girls in Action (GA’s) and Royal Ambassadors (RA’s) are scripture memory and missions education programs for grade-schoolers, 1st-5th grade. We spend time learning the bible, learning the stories of past missionaries, as well as doing activities to support and learn from the missionaries we currently support.
GA & RA ministries are offered during the school year on Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:15 pm. The fall semester begins August 25 and continues through October 27 (off September 8).
During the summer, GA’s and RA’s have the opportunity to go to summer camp at Camp LaVida (girls camp) or Camp McCall (boys camp).
You can sign-up your grade-schooler to participate in RA’s or GA’s here.
