Sam Ferguson has been attending Ridgewood since 2018. She lives in the Greer/Taylors area with her husband, Drew and their two children, Rivers and Riley. She is a stay-at-home-mom and she enjoys the flexibility it’s given her to connect with other moms, schedule play dates and serve Ridgewood.

What do you love about serving at Ridgewood?

I love the people and the opportunity to care for their needs. I love seeing some burdens lifted from members to free them up to better care for their families and other members.

What do you do when you are not serving?

Running around with my kids, likely literally! Rivers loves to run and Riley loves to be on the move. Drew and I love taking the kids for hikes and grabbing a bite to eat at our favorite family restaurant, Southernside Brewery in Greenville.

Favorite book?

I don’t have a favorite but I am currently reading The Bible Guidebook by Joseph Osborn (shoutout!) and The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis.

What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you??

My dream car is a G-Wagon. It’s the least practical off-roading vehicle but it’s so cool!
