Nic Olson

About Nic…

Nicolas Olson (aka Nic) has been leading Ridgewood in song since 2019. He loves playing music, making memes, watching Clemson, spending time with his friends and family, but most of all, he loves his wife, Libby. He is also quite fond of Zaxby’s, National Treasure, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Oh, and Diet Coke.

What do you love about serving at Ridgewood?

I love serving at Ridgewood because it is a local body of believers that is consumed with the gospel. Ridgewood is intentional to encourage believers to live gospel-centered lives through gospel-centered community in order to make gospel-centered disciples in the city of Greer.

What do you do when you are not serving?

When I am not serving at Ridgewood, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy making music, golfing, and playing board games, but if it’s a Saturday in the Fall, I will be watching college football.

Favorite book?

Some very influential books in my walk with Christ have been The Valley of Vision, Love Thy Body by Nancy Pearcey, Heaven is a Place on Earth by Michael Wittmer, and Evangelism and the Sovereignty of God by J.I. Packer.

What is your claim to fame?

My claim to fame is I do not like broccoli, or red sauce pizza or pasta. Apparently you can’t tell people that around here… but I wear this as a badge of honor, not one of dishonor.
