What is Kings table church?
Kings Table is a church planting partnership between Ridgewood Church and LifeBridge Church to establish a new church in the Halifax Regional Municipality of Nova Scotia, Canada. We want to make Jesus known here in Greer and to the ends of the earth, and this vision compels us to plant new churches.
Why the HRM?
The HRM (Halifax Regional Municipality) has one of the highest growth rates in Canada, and this growth is not slowing down. Life is flourishing in the economic and cultural hub of Atlantic Canada.
Our desire is that even this record-setting growth rate would be out paced by life in the Spirit! And the Lord is growing His church! We are encouraged by the partnerships forming across Atlantic Canada to labor together for the Kingdom of God. While the harvest is plentiful, the laborers are few. The HRM needs more “gospel outposts.” We want to see Christ’s church multiply across Atlantic Canada!
Additionally, we believe in our church planter, Bryce Harrison. We affirm God's call on his life and his giftedness for planting. We're eager to see how God will impact the HRM through Bryce, Elizabeth, and the team's labors.
Meet the Team
The Harrisons
Bryce and Elizabeth both come from missionary families and grew up seeing God work in the lives of people all over the world. Through their time at North Greenville University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, they discerned the Lord’s call to church planting. The Harrisons fell in love with the Maritimes and are excited to raise their two boys in Atlantic Canada.
They enjoy spending family time together reading classic literature, watching sports, and playing with Paw Patrol toys!
Hannah Squires
Hannah attended North Greenville University and was been a member of Ridgewood since moving to the Upstate. During this time, the Lord has been preparing her heart to join a church planting team and has faithfully grown her love and affection for both Jesus and for Nova Scotia.
Hannah loves hiking, coffee, and experiencing different cultures!
Rebekah Pirkle
Rebekah felt a calling to cross-cultural missions at a young age and served for four years in Honduras at a bilingual school and children’s center. She has degrees in both business administration and culinary arts and desires to use the ways that the Lord has equipped her to make disciples and see the church multiply in the HRM.
In her spare time, she likes baking, crafting, and music!
